RICHARD BONDURANT, the second son of John, II, and Sarah
Moseley Bondurant was born August 22, 1740, in Manakin Town VA
He married Cecelia Ann Hall and they had three children.
Their first born, Thomas, married Margaret Drury and they went to Boone County, Kentucky, in 1820.
Frances, their only girl, married Jacob Holsclaw and they too went to Boone County.
Their third child was Joseph, who married Martha Tharp. Joseph and Martha moved westward
and one of their sons, Alexander Connelly Bondurant, founded the town of Bondurant, Iowa.
