Lewis Aylor was born 28 Aug 1820 in Boone County, Ky.
He married Susan Blankenbaker 17 Dec 1840 in Boone County, Kentucky, daughter of Ephraim Blankenbaker and Elizabeth Smith.
She was born 22 Feb 1821 in Virginia, and died 25 Oct 1912 at age 91 in Florence, Boone County, Ky.
She was the daughter of Ephraim Blankenbaker and Elizabeth Smith

Lewis Aylor died 21 May 1893 at age 72. He and his wife are both buried in the Hopeful Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Lewis Aylor was born in Boone County, Ky., August 28, 1820, and is the second of five children born to Henry and Jemima (Tanner) Aylor.
Henry Aylor was a native of Virginia, but came to Kentucky with his parents, Michael and Sallie Aylor, at an early date, and settled near Florence, Boone Co., Ky.
Henry Aylor was brought up on the farm, and followed farming all his life.
Jemima Tanner was a daughter of Frederick and Mary Tanner, natives of Virginia, but early settlers in Boone County, Ky.
Lewis Aylor was brought up on the farm, and received a common-school education.
He has followed farming all his life, and settled where he now resides in 1885, where he owns 147 acres; he also owns a farm near Union, Boone County, of 220 acres.
Of late years he was been devoting considerable attention to the breeding and developing of fine stock.
December 17, 1840, he married Susan Blankenbeker, a daughter of Ephraim and Elizabeth (Smith) Blankenbeker, of Boone County.
To this union eight children have been born, viz.: Sarah J., John H., Virginia A., Perrander, Penbleton C., Mary B., Susan D. and Lewis P.
- three of whom are deceased, viz.: Perryander, Penbleton C. and Mary B. Mr. Aylor is a Master Mason, and politically he is a Democrat.

The Florence Deposit Bank was established under a state charter July 25, 1904, has a capital of $15,000, surplus and profits of $20,000 and deposits of $250,000.
It is housed in a modern bank building, a brick structure on Main Street erected in 1904.
The officers are: C.F. Blankenbeker of Florence, president; J.S. Surface of Florence, vice president; and J.G. Renaker, cashier.

The first president of the Florence Bank was W. H. Rice, who also had a great deal to do with the formation of the depository.
He was a man of sterling character, a leader in church work loved by all who knew him and his workers
and the public in general sincerely regretted to see him leave Boone County when he gave up the presidency in October, 1919
and moved to Erlanger, where he resided with his daughter until the date of his death.
